HI All – These two new sites are very cool and they are eco-friendly. Less paper to waste!

thanks to Martha I found this new site called pingg they have incredible web invites! Less paper to send out!

And thanks to Steve, my brother-in-law, he introduced me to evernote. Basically you can take a picture of anything on your phone like a business card and send it to evernote. It can read anything in a picture – wicked cool- if you want an invite i have 9 left. I think you can request one too!

Check them out!

This chicken wing recipe comes from the Cox Family better known as the 6 Red Heads! Thanks for sharing!

Marinate about two dozen chicken wings in equal parts vodka and light soy sauce, add some minced garlic.  Keep them marinated for 4-6 hours, up to 24 hours in advance. Cook at 350 in the sauce for 1 1/2 hours. Remove some of the sauce at the end if you want crispier wings.

I made them on several occasions and everyone wants for the recipe!  They are sooo yummy!

This Lemon Cookie Container will find a new home on my desk for hiding pens and pencils. Instead of making a glue paste and getting a little messy, I downloaded one of my grandmothers hankies ( this is similar to covering boxes) I printed it out on full sheet label – peeled off the backing and stuck it on! presto! You could do it with family photos or any design to match your accessories!

Last night I had a wonderful dinner with friends and my friend Lori shared her recipe for paprika chicken. This is her grandmother Yvonne Bouchard’s recipe. Yummy!

  • 6 whole chicken breasts
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1tbs paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 gloves of crushed garlic

the sauce ( the sauce should be doubled for the best results)

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup white wine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp liquid graving (browning)
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

sprinkle 6 whole chicken breasts with lemon juice. Rub juice into surface of meat. Toss chicken in mixture of flour, paprika, salt and pepper.

shake to remove surplus coating. Browning quickly on each side in hot butter. Arrange in a heat proof serving dish.

add to pan chopped onions and gloves of crushed garlic. Saute 8 to 5 minutes or until tender. Scatter onions over chicken

make sauce by combining in same skillet heavy cream, chicken broth, white wine, salt, gravy and pepper. Bring to a boil pour over chicken. Bake 30-35 minutes in preheated oven at 400 degree oven.
